The term “Vintage Prints Ltd” or “us” or “we” or “seller” refers to the owner of the website. The term “you” or “customer” or “buyer” refers to the user or viewer of our website.
The use of this website is subject to the following terms of use:

It is subject to change without notice. • Neither we nor any third parties provide any warranty or guarantee as to the accuracy, timeliness, performance, completeness or suitability of the information and materials found or offered on this website for any particular purpose. You acknowledge that such information and materials may contain inaccuracies or errors and we expressly exclude liability for any such inaccuracies or errors to the fullest extent permitted by law. • Your use of any information or materials on this website is entirely at your own risk, for which we shall not be liable. Purchasing We do not like to keep orders on hold for more than 6 weeks. If you decide you’d like us to hold the order for more than 6 weeks from the order date then additional charges may apply to compensate for price increases of supplies, packaging, & postage. All items will be charged at current rates. Any additional charges will be payable before the order is despatched.
If an order is cancelled once it has been on hold for a period of 6 weeks, 20% of the total cost will be retained to cover expenses. After 8 weeks this will increase to 50%. After 6 months, you may only receive a credit towards products at the current rates.
You undertake that all details you provide to Vintage Prints Ltd for the purpose of ordering or purchasing goods are correct, that the debit or credit card you are using is your own and you have sufficient funds to cover the cost of the goods or services ordered. If there are any address changes to the details supplied by you it is your responsibility to inform us as soon as possible. Please do not assume that we have received any changes. We will always confirm them with you by email.
Pricing Policy While Vintage Prints Ltd tries to ensure that all prices and product descriptions on this site are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of the goods you have ordered, we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you, we will treat the order as cancelled. If you cancel and you have already paid for the goods, we will provide a full refund.
Electronic Proofs We use proofs as a means of ensuring that an order is correct before it goes to print. We cannot stress enough how important it is to check them carefully. We always advise to use a computer screen rather than relying on a mobile device and we also recommend showing them to family or friends to help spot any errors. We DO NOT check your spelling and punctuation. Occasionally we might spot errors and point them out to you but we cannot be held liable if you find the printed product has errors on it that were apparent on the proofs. If the item on the proofs is blue, then it will be blue when printed regardless of what you may have ordered. Please always point out any discrepancies. We do not limit the number of proofs (within reason) as we believe it’s important to get things right. Once you have approved the proofs the order is final and will be sent to print. Vintage Prints Ltd does not accept any liability for errors visible on the proofs even if it is something obvious such as a date being in the past or missing. Once an electronic proof has been created, that part of any order is non-refundable.
Invite Variations Variations of invitations or other products are processed separately with separate proofs. They must therefore be added to your basket separately and the minimum order quantity applies to each variation. Please read the relevant listing information for full details. This could be for day or evening invitations or English & German variations for example. With menus this might apply to having one set of menus with meat dishes and another set with vegetarian options. If unsure, please contact us in advance and we can advise you.
Generic Samples Our generic samples are standard and cannot be customised. They serve to show the quality of the card and print and the colours of the design. If you would like a different colour to the one shown then please contact us beforehand and we will let you know if we have them available. If not, you will need to order a Personalised Sample which can be fully customised for you. We are able to produce generic samples of any of our standard designs (foiling excluded).
Personalised Samples Personalised samples are prepared as described on the listings and are fully customised. Please refer to the Electronic Proofs section above. If we do not hear back from you for approval to print despite repeated attempts to contact you, we reserve the right to print and dispatch the order after 4 weeks without your approval. These orders are non-refundable.

Please note that we do not have regular opening hours and we always recommend you email us first to check we will be in or even book an appointment.

Despatch Our estimated despatch times can vary and are as listed on the individual listings. As a general guide Generic samples are normally despatched within 1 - 3 working days. Most personalised items are despatched within 3 - 6 working days after any proofs have been approved. All foiling products are despatched within 10 – 15 working days. We despatch orders daily Monday to Friday (excluding all holidays). We always try to print and despatch orders earlier if we can. We can expedite orders, but we do have to have cut-off times as we have to make sure everything is finished and packed up to leave when the postman/courier calls. We do not send items on a weekend.
Any quoted lead times will start from receipt of both a validated order and the correct details to enable us to create proofs or print the order. If an order requires customer approval, the dispatch time will start from receipt of the customer’s approval. We aim to create proofs within approximately 3 working days subject to workload, longer for custom designs.
Whilst we make every effort to dispatch on time, we do not guarantee that we will be able to meet this dispatch date, and we do not accept liability for any costs you may incur due to late delivery, delivery of incorrect goods, or delivery of damaged goods. We do not offer any compensation or refund in these cases other than the fast delivery surcharge. It is our policy to re-print damaged or incorrect goods.
Shipping Policy We use various shipping methods including Royal Mail and couriers. All prices quoted are for mainland UK deliveries only unless otherwise specified. If you live on one of the UK islands, including Northern Ireland, then delivery charges may vary. Please contact us when placing your order for further information. Buyers are responsible for providing a correct shipping address.
Heavier/larger items are usually sent via a 1 or 2-day courier service. We reserve the right to use any method of postage that will enable the items to be received safely and within a timely manner. The service will always be equal to or faster than paid for.
We currently use Parcelforce as our main courier of choice. Vintage Prints Ltd is not responsible for any delays caused by Parcelforce and their delivery partners, nor with Royal Mail or other couriers. Delays can, and sadly do, happen. When your order is dispatched, you receive an email tell you that it’s been dispatched. At this stage you will know that your order is due either the next working day or, if it’s Parcelforce 48, in 2 working days. It is your responsibility to tell us immediately if your parcel did not arrive on that day. If you wait another day or longer, and we are no longer able to fix things before you need your items, we cannot be held responsible, and refunds will not be given beyond what Parcelforce choose to refund. This is never the full amount and is often only the actual cost of postage. If you have RSVP dates on items, please do not rely solely on a timely delivery. Please always allow for delays. Again, we are not responsible.
Shipping times can vary especially during busy seasons such as during Christmas period and bank holiday periods or if there are adverse weather conditions or postal strikes. We are not liable for shipping delays. Once we have despatched the order, we consider our contract with the customer fulfilled.
Postage & Packaging The Postage and Packaging cost includes the cost of all envelopes & packaging as well as delivery from our UK studio to your chosen delivery address. If you wish to check the postage and packaging costs on a particular order the best way to do this is place the items in the shopping basket and the site will calculate the charge. P&P costs vary depending on the weight / size of what's being packed and posted. We do our best to keep these costs down but occasionally we may have to change delivery charges should the weight or size of the parcel require further postage to be paid. Our Customer Service Team will contact you before despatching your parcel should this be the case. All items in an order will be consolidated and shipped together to save on postage. If you choose to separate the order, additional fees will apply.
Priority Processing We offer Priority Processing to ensure your order is processed and dispatched as quickly as possible. To use this service, please select the Priority Processing option during checkout. Your order will be moved to the top of the list, and we will prepare your proofs as soon as we are able. Printing will usually be within approximately 1 or 2 working days after approval of your proofs (longer for foiling orders) but this can also be longer during busy periods. If you have requested additional options such as gluing and bow tying, we may require a further working day or two to get everything ready. We need to receive approval to print your order by midday (Mon-Fri) in order to be able to begin printing your order the following working day. This will always be at the discretion of Vintage Prints Ltd as we do not print every day. Your order will however by prioritised in the next print run. We'll always try to help you where we can. Remember that Priority Processing only applies up to the dispatch moment at which point your chosen delivery option will dictate how long it takes for your order to reach you. Please always allow extra time for delays that are out of our control.
Next Day UK Delivery We offer Next Day UK Delivery to mainland UK for delivery with a signature the next working day following dispatch. Dispatch times apply as per individual listings. Next Day UK Orders will be delivered Next Working Day (weekends & bank holidays excluded). Orders despatched on a Friday will be delivered on the following Monday (bank holidays not included). Please note: When combined with Priority Processing, this next day delivery service helps if you have left things late. We will advise you if we are unable to fulfil your request for any reason. If you choose the Next Day UK service, the item will require a signature upon delivery. Please note that this is not a guaranteed service, and you should never leave things to the last minute. Delivery drivers often get it wrong, no matter what delivery company one uses. Vintage Prints Ltd cannot be held liable for late deliveries nor for any costs this may incur.
Exceptions for Next Day UK Delivery Services to the Scottish Highlands & Islands (AB31, AB33-38, AB45, AB52-56, FK17-21, HS1-9, IV1-3, IV10-28, IV30-32, IV 36, IV40-49, IV51-56, IV99, KA27-28, KW 1-3; KW5-17, PA20-PA38, PA41-49, PA60-78, PA80, PH17-26, PH30-44, PH49-50, ZE1-3), Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Scilly Isles and Northern Ireland are 2 – 5 day delivery and may incur a surcharge. This list is liable to change without notice so always check with us directly if you are unsure. ‘Next Day’ courier delivery to these locations is usually 3 days but can take up to a week. Packages are passed on to a delivery partner, usually Royal Mail, for the last stage of the journey. Guernsey and Jersey are considered International Delivery and the delivery charge may be different to mainland UK. All delivery charges are subject to change should the weight or size of the parcel require further postage to be paid. Our Customer Service Team will contact you before despatching your parcel should this be the case. Please get in touch before placing your order if you are unsure about delivery costs.
International Delivery We are no longer able to offer international shipping as Brexit has made it almost impossible with all the bureaucracy, surcharges, and taxes.
Delivery We cannot be held responsible for a missed/late delivery. Once a package has been despatched with Royal Mail or a courier, it is out of our hands. If a package is returned to us after failed delivery attempts or failure to collect from a local collection point, it will be returned to Vintage Prints Ltd. The customer will then be responsible for paying the postage to have the parcel reshipped using a Tracked shipping method. Buyers are responsible for providing a correct shipping address, and for providing a secure place for the carrier to deliver packages. Please ensure you always provide a full and correct shipping address and double check the postcode.
If an item goes missing and the online delivery record shows that the item was delivered, the seller takes no responsibility. Any record of the recipient's signature obtained by the delivery company shall be conclusive evidence of the delivery of an order.
Please note that our standard delivery does not provide a guaranteed delivery date. "Next day delivery" provides a specified delivery date. Vintage Prints Ltd is not liable for delayed deliveries caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to weather conditions, acts of war, flood, fire, labour disputes, strikes, lockouts, riots, pandemics, civil commotion, malicious damage, explosion, governmental actions and any other similar events. If your delivery does not arrive when expected, you must let us know straight away. If you wait and do not inform us until after the expected delivery date, we are no longer responsible. We must be given the chance to look into the matter within 24 hours of the expected delivery date and well in advance of the event date. No compensation or refunds will be given.

Address Changes We ask that you double check the address given before placing the order and to ensure the email address provided is correct. Once the order has been despatched it will be sent to the address that you have provided. If you have provided an incorrect address and the item is returned to us, we will contact you via email and request a correct address. You will be liable for all shipping costs. Missing items sent to an incorrect address, even if it is only a minor error, will not be refunded/replaced. If you need us to change your delivery address, you must email us as soon as possible. Please put “Urgent: Change of delivery address” in the subject line so that we notice it quickly. We will try to change it if the order hasn’t already been despatched.
Non-Arrivals Not all items fit through a letterbox, and you will be responsible for collecting the item if you are out. Most postmen leave calling cards, but from experience, some do not. Therefore, if your item hasn’t arrived within a reasonable amount of time please check with your neighbours and local collection office first before contacting us. Please also:
• Check that the address you have provided is the address you are now residing at and that it is correct. • Ask your household members or colleagues if they have received your item in case they took delivery and have not informed you. • It is possible for items to be mislaid at collection offices. Inform your postman to look out for the parcel you are expecting and ask him to double check the collection office. Sometimes we receive parcels back from collection offices despite customers stating they did check with their collection office. Contact your local collection office every day as sometimes items do turn up after your initial check.
Email your enquiry so that we can investigate the matter for you. Please do not wait for 2 weeks or more after the expected dispatch date before following up on your order. We do always aim to despatch orders within 6 working days of your approval with a few exceptions as noted on the individual listings. If you wait any longer than 3 weeks from the dispatch date, we will no longer be liable for replacing the items.
Returns Policy
In the unlikely event that you receive goods which were not what you ordered or which are damaged or defective, or are of a different quantity to that stated on your order form, Vintage Prints Ltd shall, at its own discretion, make good any shortage or non-delivery, replace defective goods, or refund to you the amount you paid for the goods in question PROVIDED THAT you notify us of the problem in writing via email or the Contact Us page within 14 days of delivery of the goods. We may require photographic evidence.
We have a 14-day returns policy for standard Generic items, excluding DIY items. Most DIY pocketfolds are cut to order and are non-returnable except on a case-by-case basis. Items must be returned in their original, pristine condition. You are responsible for any charges relating to returning the goods and are responsible for their safe arrival. We will not refund or replace an item if the item is not returned to us first. We encourage you to get free proof of postage from your post office in case an item is lost in the post. Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations if we find that the product has not been returned to us in fully resalable condition, we reserve the right to refuse an exchange or refund on the item.
We cannot accept returns for any customised items. Everything is designed and made to order and as such cannot be resold. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Cancellation of Orders You may also withdraw from the contract at any time before any proofs have been drawn up, but no later than 2 working days after placing the order and request a full refund, minus any banking charges incurred. Once proofs have been drawn up the cost of an electronic PDF for any product ordered will be deducted from any refund along with any banking and account fees and a proportion of any priority processing fee. This will be on a case-by-case basis and at the discretion of Vintage Prints Ltd. Any orders left on hold and then subsequently cancelled, will incur a processing fee as well as the above. Please refer to the Purchasing section above for terms relating to orders that have been on hold for longer than 6 weeks.
Refunds In line with industry practice and according to Stripe & PayPal policies, fees from original transactions are no longer returned. For this reason, any fees paid by Vintage Prints Ltd will be deducted from all refunds. This includes order cancellations where fees have been deducted at source. All Stripe and PayPal fees will be deducted from any refunds, partial or otherwise. No refunds for under £1.50 will be made if a customer changes their mind about something. Our accounting and banking fees must be covered for all transactions.
VAT Vintage Prints Ltd is registered for VAT from 1st July 2021. VAT Number 382193584
Liability Vintage Prints Ltd does not accept liability (except as set out below) for any errors and omissions and reserve the right to change information, images, prices, specifications and descriptions of listed goods, products, and services. Printed colours can vary from those displayed on a monitor and can also vary from monitor to monitor and on mobile devices. If you are unsure about a colour, please purchase a sample first. If an error is discovered in the price of the goods that you have ordered, we will inform you as soon as possible. We shall be under no obligation to fulfil an order for a product which was advertised at an incorrect price or specification. If you have been charged for the item(s) but we have not despatched it, we will cancel and refund your order. Vintage Prints Ltd does not accept any liability for any indirect loss, consequential loss, loss of data, loss of income or profit, loss or damage to property and/or loss from claims of third parties arising out of the use of the site or for any products or services purchased from Vintage Prints Ltd.
