We use foil blocking / hot foil stamping to press stunning foil detail onto the cards. Not to be confused with the more affordable digital foiling, this traditional foiling is all done by hand to create a unique finish. It requires specialist printing equipment and a lot of time and patience as they are printed one at a time.

As we do not have all variations pre-printed, your sample pack may include a random Save the Date card. We will include swatches of all other foil and card colours for you. Please just email us once you have placed your order if you are particularly interested in one design and if we have that one in stock, we’ll be sure to include it for you.

TYPE
*Foil Press Only (No Standard Print): This option allows you to select any card colour. We can even get thicker 540 or 700gsm cardstock. Please just email us for details.

*Foil Press & Standard Print: This option is only for the paler card types as our standard print will not show on a dark background. Card weight is also limited to 350gsm

* If both are showing on the listing it is because of a technical error. Please just select your chosen card colour as described above. It’s a recurring technical issue we are aware of but will not affect the order in any way.

FOIL COLOUR
We have listed the main colours we use but if you are interested in a different colour, let us know in your order notes and we’ll see what swatches we have in stock. There is a vast range of foiling colours out there from shiny to matt. We just don’t stock them all as standard.

CARD COLOUR
We have listed the main colours we hold in stock but if you are interested in a different colour, let us know in your order notes and we’ll see what we have in stock. There is a huge range of card types, weights and colours available. We just don’t stock them all as standard.

CARD SIZE
The 2 main sizes are our standard A6 or the large 5x7”. If you would like something else, please let us know. We do not press onto mini A7 cards as they are simply too small to achieve a good result.

CORNER OPTIONS
We can round the corners for you if you like (not available for heavier weight cardstock)

MAGNET
Magnets are flat, square peel & stick and really easy to apply to the back of a save the date card. Select this option if you’d like to have one included with your sample.

ENVELOPE COLOUR
If you cannot see the colour you’d like, drop us an email and we’ll let you know if it’s available. Availability changes constantly as the mills change their card and paper stock. We try to keep the list up to date but let us know if you cannot see the colour you want. Please note that the orange envelope is not an exact match for the Rust orange card.

ENVELOPE LINER
If you’d like an envelope liner to add an extra layer of luxury to your card, this is the option to select. You can either pick a design from our range of envelope liners under the ‘Accessories And DIY’ tab or we’ll choose one for you.

MATCHING STICKER
We’ll select this to match your envelope liner, or you can pick a design from our range of stickers under the ‘Accessories And DIY’ tab. If you don’t specify, we’ll choose one for you. It will not be personalised with your text/initials.

NOTES FOR YOUR ORDER

Sizes explained:
5x7” is our large size
A6 is the standard size
5x7” envelope fits a 5x7” card
C6 envelope fits an A6 card

Approximate Card & Envelope Sizes:
Large 5x7” Card (127mm x 177mm)
Large 5x7” Envelope (133mm x 184mm)
Standard A6 Card (105mm x 148mm)
Standard C6 Envelope (114mm x 162mm)

Simply look through the options to click any you’d like, choose your envelope colour and add the sample to your basket. We’ll dispatch your order asap, usually within 2 working days.

After you have approved your proof, we aim to dispatch your order within 4 - 15 working days, depending on your product type (please see individual product details for dispatch times). Samples are usually dispatched within 1 - 3 working days. Shipping times may vary due to bank holidays or during busy periods.

Royal Mail 2nd Class postage and a standard courier takes between 3-5 working days.  
Royal Mail 1st Class postage takes 2 – 3 working days.
*Next Day Delivery takes 1 or 2 working days (weekends & holidays excluded). 

*Next Day Options are only available for UK mainland. Please contact us separately for shipping to Northern Ireland or any of the other islands or highlands.
If you require any other shipping such as Express or shipping abroad then please contact us separately for a quote.

FAST TRACK ORDERS
*If you choose to add Priority Processing to your order, it will jump to the front of the queue and take priority. We will make sure that your order is processed as quickly as possible from proofs through to printing and dispatch. We will aim to prepare your proofs within 1 or 2 days and will also endeavour to dispatch your order within 1 – 2 full working days from approving your proofs.
