Our double-sided, Printed Gatefold Wedding Invitations offer plenty of space to add all the information you need to send out to your guests. With your choice of gold, silver, or rose gold foiling. Irresistibly eye catching! Even the simplest design will dazzle with this extra-special gilded finish. Choose which bits of your card(s) are foiled. Go for a subtle touch or all-out bling! Envelopes are included with every invitation. You have the option of adding in additional cards too. You choose which information to put where and we can even change or tweak the design for you. They are fully customisable.

Optional matching Foil Tags, Foil Sleeves, stickers, and envelope liners give them another personal touch. We are careful to select only the best quality card so that we can create something for you and your guests to hold and cherish forever. We can edit any of our other stationery to match your chosen design too.

CAN I MAKE CHANGES?
The short answer is YES! We fully customise everything so if you’d prefer to word your invitations differently from those pictured, just tell us when placing your order. Perhaps you’d prefer invitations for some other event? No problem, they are fully customisable. Want all or only part of the text foiling? Need the colour or design tweaking? Just let us know when ordering. Our photos show just one possible variation. Like the invitation style but would prefer a completely different design or have a design of your own? No problem, please contact us with your design and we’ll be able to advise you!

VARIATIONS EXPLAINED
Your invitation is the double-sided, printed gatefold invitation card on its own, without any additional cards. It is printed front and back. Foiling is included on both sides. They are creased for folding and will arrive flat in stacks ready for you to fold. Tuck in any additional cards and pop them in the envelopes provided to post to your guests. Please read on for a full description.

CARD COLOUR
Card used for foiling occasionally changes without prior notice as manufacturers worldwide struggle with supply and mills change their recipes. This has now happened again and our old warm white card has been discontinued. The good news is that our new equipment foils on our other cardstocks so smooth white will now be used as standard. Ivory is also available on request. Other colours will follow soon. Any samples ordered before 28^th February 2025 will be different in shade to the new card types. Please always refer to the sample swatch cards we include with all sample orders for the actual card colour.

FOIL COLOUR
We offer Gold, Rose Gold, and Silver foiling as standard but other colours may be available. We have swatches of all 3 colours available so if you’d like to see a sample, please order a Generic Sample of any foiling product. We do not have samples of all foiling products available in all 3 colours. Please add a note if you’d like us to include additional foil colour swatches.

INVITE SIZE
Have the finished folded invitation square or 5x7 to fit our square or 5x7 envelopes.

DAY OR EVENING: Each variation (day, eve, different language, different timings etc) must be ordered separately and is subject to the minimum order quantity. Use the ‘Other’ option if you need something to be different on one set of invitations.

ORDER TYPE:
Invite Only: This is the double-sided, printed gatefold invitation on its own without any additional cards.

Invite + 1 Card: If you’d like to add a separate smaller card to go with your invitation, this is the option for you. The smaller square card can be single or double-sided and with or without foiling. It is fully customised for you so you can choose what you’d like your additional card to be (RSVP/Menu/Info/Gift Msg etc).

Invite + 2 Cards: As above for +1 Card. If you’d like more than two additional cards, please get in touch.

We do not recommend having small text such as menu options, foiled. Foil writing is always harder to read due to its shine.

PERSONALISED GUEST NAMES: We can print guest names for you. Choose where they should sit and what font you’d like them to be in.

PRINTING ON BACK OF ADDITIONAL CARD: If you’d like to have printing on the back of the +1 Card, this is the option to choose. If you need printing on the back of +2 cards, please get in touch.

ALTERNATIVE EMAIL ADDRESSES YOU MIGHT USE: Apart from the email address you use for your account/order, if you think you may email details from a different address such as a partner’s or from work, please list them here. It helps us to cross match details with an order.

Proofs:  All of the above are fully customised for you. You will receive a digital proof so that you can check that you are completely happy with the design and can make any amendments before we send them to print. Please be aware that foil writing is always harder to read due to its shine. We are happy to put any information you like on the cards but do not take responsibility for them being hard to read. The more text that is added, the smaller the text. Please ensure you check proofs carefully to ensure nothing has been missed, even if it was requested in an earlier email. All proofs are FINAL! We always recommend asking family or friends to check them too.

ENVELOPE OPTIONS
ENVELOPE COLOUR:  Kraft brown envelopes are included as standard. Other colours are also available. Just click on the colour you would like. We’ve searched for a long time to find the best quality envelopes at affordable prices and are really happy with what we now stock. If you do need a different colour, let us know and we’ll see what we can find.

ADDRESSED INVITATION ENVELOPES:  We all know how time consuming it can be to sit and hand write addresses on envelopes so if you’d prefer us to do that for you then this is the option for you. We will need a spreadsheet or table from you. The information for each envelope must be on one line with each line of text for that envelope in a separate column. Please just ask us for detailed instructions and/or a blank template to fill in if you’re unsure. Not possible on dark envelopes such as Navy, Black, or Forest Green as we are unable to print white/light text onto a dark background.

ENVELOPE LINER:  Envelope liners are on a white or on cream paper. They come either Loose where they are pre-cut & creased, ready for you to stick in yourself, or fully assembled where we do the fiddly work and stick each one in for you. We create them to match your chosen design but if you’d prefer a different design to compliment your invitations, just add a note to your order. Browse our other envelope liners for ideas. Cream paper is also available on request. Ivory paper is no longer available as it was discontinued by the mill. Liners are sized to fit all our v-flap envelopes and are not currently available for our Premium White peel & seal envelopes although this is about to change (contact us if you’d like these). Envelope liners are not foiled as standard but are available. Please contact us if you’d like to add these to your order.

MATCHING STICKER TO SEAL YOUR ENVELOPE: A matching sticker (without foiling) for your envelopes gives a hint of what’s to come. Choose from matt heart stickers, or round matt, gloss, or transparent stickers. You choose what goes on the sticker. If you’d like to order extra, you can order extra stickers here.

RSVP OPTIONS
RSVP ENVELOPE
RSVP envelopes are sized to fit the additional small square cards. They cannot be personalised as they are too small to fit through our printers.

RSVP ENVELOPE COLOUR
Kraft brown is our standard range, or you can select one of the other colours.

RSVP ENVELOPE LINER
We can create matching envelopes liners (without foiling) to fit into your RSVP envelopes. We will create them to match the invitation design, but you can of course choose any other design to compliment your invites. Just let us know when ordering. You can have them loose so that you glue them in yourself, or you can opt for pre-assembled where we do that for you. Please refer to the information for invitation envelope liners above for details of colour.

YOUR TEXT
This is where you can write any notes about your order. If you feel it’s too much to put all the information in here, feel free to email it to us afterwards at your convenience. If you need to send any images such as a QR code, please email them to us separately as you cannot upload files to our website.

QUANTITY
In order to keep costs down we have a minimum order quantity of 30 for each variation (e.g., day, evening, German etc)! We always recommend ordering a few extra invitations for those late additions to the guest list as we cannot produce fewer than 30 reprints. Remember you only need one invitation per couple/family, not per person!

CREAM SLEEVES WITH FOILING are available to compliment your invitations under Wedding Invitations / Invitation Accessories / Foil Sleeves. They can be any design to match or compliment your invitations.

TAGS WITH FOILING are available to match or compliment your invitations. Please contact us separately for these telling us how many you need.

TWINE – Twine is available cut into lengths ready for you to wrap twice around your invitation and tie in a bow.

Please note that all recycled Kraft brown envelopes can have shade variations as it is a natural product.

‘Create’ your invitation pack yourself by selecting the relevant options from the drop-down menus. Either include the information for your cards with the order or email it to contact@vintageprints.co.uk afterwards at your convenience.

Once we receive your order a member of our design team will create electronic proofs using the information you have supplied usually within 2 – 3 working days. The proofs will be emailed to you. Unlike many companies, we do not limit the number of changes you can make to your proofs within reason. Once you are happy with them, let us know and we will send them to print. Nothing goes to print without your approval. If after placing an order you haven’t heard from us within 3 working days, please get in touch. We always email separately to confirm an order.

Please note that once we send foiling orders to print, the order cannot be changed! By sending them to print you confirm that all the details are correct on the proofs. If you are unsure about any detail at all then please ask before approving them. And please get someone else to proofread them too! Please ensure all elements of your order are shown on your proofs including stickers, sleeves, addressed envelopes etc. You are responsible for ensuring the proofs at the time of approval are correct even if you had previously requested edits in an email. If they are not visible on the proofs, they have been missed so you must point it out to us.

We normally print an order within 6 working days after you have approved any proofs. The whole process normally takes around 2 weeks plus delivery time depending on the product and whether amendments are made to the proofs. If you need your order quickly, please select Priority Processing during checkout. Please also be sure to select a faster shipping method if you’d like your order quicker. Next Day Courier is the fastest.

After you have approved your proof, we aim to dispatch your order within 4 - 15 working days, depending on your product type (please see individual product details for dispatch times). Samples are usually dispatched within 1 - 3 working days. Shipping times may vary due to bank holidays or during busy periods.

Royal Mail 2nd Class postage and a standard courier takes between 3-5 working days.  
Royal Mail 1st Class postage takes 2 – 3 working days.
*Next Day Delivery takes 1 or 2 working days (weekends & holidays excluded). 

*Next Day Options are only available for UK mainland. Please contact us separately for shipping to Northern Ireland or any of the other islands or highlands.

FAST TRACK ORDERS
*If you choose to add Priority Processing to your order, it will jump to the front of the queue and take priority. We will make sure that your order is processed as quickly as possible from proofs through to printing and dispatch. We will aim to prepare your proofs within 1 or 2 days and will also endeavour to dispatch your order within 1 – 2 full working days from approving your proofs.
