Our printed A2 and A1 signs are a great way to show your guests where to go, provide basic information or even make them laugh! We can match any of our designs. If you have had invitations from us with a custom design, we can match them. This listing is for a sign with minimal text and is not for table plans, timelines, or order of event boards. As with all our stationery, our signs and posters are fully customised for you and are easily adapted for any other occasion such as birthdays, balls, christenings, sporting events etc. Make the most of it and select double-sided printing to turn it into a dual-purpose display!

The one question everybody asks us is “Can we change x, y or z?”. The answer is YES! We fully customise everything so if you’d prefer to word your signs differently from those pictured then just tell us when placing your order. Perhaps you’d prefer them to be for some other event? No problem, they are fully customisable. Need the colour or design tweaking? Just let us know when ordering. A sign requires less editing than a table plan or timeline so please use our other listings for anything more complicated.

VARIATIONS EXPLAINED

LAYOUT
You can opt to have your sign portrait/vertical or landscape/horizontal. If you’re ordering more than 1 sign together and would like them different, that’s fine, just add a note to the order.

FOAMEX
Foamex is a PVC foam board which is reasonably lightweight yet very hardwearing due to its fine cell structure and flat, non-crumbling surface. We use a quality 5mm rigid, hardwearing, water-resistant Foamex board.  All printing is done onto a white background. These are great for standing on an easel for display or for simply leaning up against a prop.

2mm CARD
Our white poster card is a 2mm thick, uncoated card that is ideal for framing or simply pinning up onto a board. Please note that it CANNOT be rolled up! If you need to be able to roll it up for transport, please opt for a 235gsm poster instead. Delivered flat.

235gsm POSTER
A lovely thick, single-sided, white 235gsm satin, coated paper. Satin paper achieves a better colour and density than uncoated paper and can also be gently wiped clean. It can crease easily so care is needed when handling. This will arrive rolled up in a tube and is suitable for easy transport. If you would prefer the satin option, please let us know when ordering. Otherwise, your sign will be printed onto the white 2mm card. Please note that these posters cannot have printing on the back of them.

EVENT DATE
Please provide the event date and if you need it more than a couple of days before the event, remember to add a note to the order to let us know. The date helps us to keep track of the order and ensure it will arrive in plenty of time.

DOUBLE-SIDED PRINTING
Choose to have something printed onto the back* of your sign. Keep it the same front and back so that you can suspend it for viewing from both sides (ask us if you’d like drill holes) or opt to have something different on the back. How about a welcome sign on the front and then flip it around later on to show a fun message? The choice is yours. It is fully customisable.

*Please note that if you would like a timeline or table plan on one side, you must purchase a timeline or table plan and have the cheaper product count as printing on the back.

QUANTITY
The more signs you buy, the cheaper they become. They do not all have to be the same. You could have a Welcome Sign, a Social Media Sign, and a Quote for example. Just let us know what you’d like each one to say.

PROCESSING
Please try and allow at least 2 - 3 weeks for any amendments, proofs, printing, and delivery. If you need a quicker turnaround, please select the Priority Processing option from the first checkout page as well as a faster shipping option. Please see our information on Delivery for further details. Please note that it takes a minimum of 3 - 4 working days to process, print, and dispatch such a sign so please contact us in advance if you are unsure of the timescale.

Please send us an email with all the details you would like on your sign(s). All text spelling and punctuation should be typed exactly as you would like it to appear as we copy and paste. We will create electronic proofs for you so that you have plenty of opportunity to make changes. Nothing goes to print until you are happy with it and we do not limit the number of changes you can make to your electronic proofs within reason.

Select the type of sign you would like by selecting the relevant options from the drop-down menus. Either include the information for them with the order or email it to us afterwards at your convenience.

Each of your signs can be different. Just tell us what you’d like each one to say.

Once we receive your order a member of our design team will create electronic proofs using the information you have supplied usually within 2 working days, slightly longer during busy periods. The proofs will be emailed to you. Unlike many companies, we do not limit the number of changes you can make to your proofs within reason. Once you are happy with them, let us know and we will send them to print. Nothing goes to print without your approval. If after placing an order you haven’t heard from us after 3 working days, please get in touch.

We normally print an order within 6 working days after you have approved any proofs. The whole process normally takes around 10 days plus delivery time depending on the product and whether amendments are made to the proofs. If you need your order quickly then please select *Priority Processing from the very first Checkout page. Your order will still be dispatched using your chosen shipping option so be sure to select a faster shipping method.

*Please note that even with Priority orders these signs can take a minimum of 4 working days to dispatch, longer during busy periods. Please contact us in advance if you are unsure of your timescale.

After you have approved your proof, we aim to dispatch your order within 4 - 15 working days, depending on your product type (please see individual product details for dispatch times). Samples are usually dispatched within 1 - 3 working days. Shipping times may vary due to bank holidays or during busy periods.

Royal Mail 2nd Class postage and a standard courier takes between 3-5 working days.  
Royal Mail 1st Class postage takes 2 – 3 working days.
*Next Day Delivery takes 1 or 2 working days (weekends & holidays excluded). 

*Next Day Options are only available for UK mainland. Please contact us separately for shipping to Northern Ireland or any of the other islands or highlands.

FAST TRACK ORDERS
*If you choose to add Priority Processing to your order, it will jump to the front of the queue and take priority. We will make sure that your order is processed as quickly as possible from proofs through to printing and dispatch. We will aim to prepare your proofs within 1 or 2 days and will also endeavour to dispatch your order within 1 – 2 full working days from approving your proofs.
