Beautiful Orders of Service either with or without inserts.  All our Order of Service covers are printed on smooth, thick 330gsm white card or on 350gsm Premium Cream textured card (limited availability) with a quality laser printer. Inserts are printed on a smooth quality white or ivory paper.
We can alter almost any aspect of the Order of Service so if you would like something altered, please don’t hesitate to ask.

About this product

Our Orders of Service are fully customised for the perfect finish. You choose the design, text, and layout. You can have printing on every side of the cover and inserts. We want you to be excited to hand them out to your guests. We are careful to select only the best quality card so that we can create something worth hanging onto as a keepsake from the big day. If you’ve bought stationery from us in the past, then we can edit these to match.

CAN I MAKE CHANGES?
The answer is YES! The one question we are asked on a daily basis is “Can we change the text/font/layout etc?”. We fully customise everything, so you decide what text goes where. Our photographs show just one example. These are suitable for any event, not just weddings. Need the colour or design tweaking? Just let us know when ordering. Like the style but would prefer a completely different design or have a design of your own? No problem, please either order our Custom Design or you can simply add a note to this one. If you’ve seen a product elsewhere on our website with a design you like, please just add a note to your order and we’ll create an Order of Service to match.

VARIATIONS EXPLAINED
CARD COLOUR:  We have tried and tested many card types and the 2 we have available are the best. Our smooth white card is 330gsm. The lightly textured, premium, cream card is 350gsm and noticeably thicker. Its pale, creamy colour gives a softer look than white, and it adds a real touch of luxury to any design. Please note that card types can change without prior notice as manufacturers sometimes unexpectedly discontinue them.

NUMBER OF INSERTS
NONE – if your information will fit on both sides of the folded A4 card, this is the option for you. Printed front and back and creased for easy folding.
1x INSERT – Add a folded white insert printed onto 160gsm paper. With a staple in the fold to hold it in place. This gives you another 4 sides of print. If you would prefer ivory paper, please let us know when ordering.
2x INSERTS – If one insert isn’t enough, you can have two. This gives you an additional 4 sides of print giving you a total of 12 ‘pages’ including the front and back cover. If you would prefer ivory paper, please let us know when ordering.

Covers & inserts are creased for easy folding and the inserts are stapled into place for you.

EVENT DATE – We need this so that we can keep an eye on the timeframe. If your wedding is within the next 2 weeks, please add Priority Processing to your order and make sure you select the Next Day delivery or the fastest shipping option available for your postcode.

BOOKLETS – If 2 inserts aren’t enough and you have a lot of information, please contact us about having a booklet printed. Please allow extra time for this.

SENDING THE DETAILS FOR YOUR ORDER
Please list all the text for your order by page, starting with the front cover, in either a Word document or email. We don’t advise using PDF files (unless they are print ready, and no editing is required) as these often corrupt the text and remove formatting. Please don’t use tabs or leading spaces to try and align text as we will do that part ourselves. We must be able to copy and paste everything. You can use bold, italics, and paragraphs. We are happy to send you detailed instructions, please just add a note to your order. It’s important that the text is sent through correctly otherwise the order may be delayed.

PROOFS – We will draw up electronic proofs for you to show you exactly what each page will look like. It’s especially important that you check every aspect, including the names, date, and spelling, as we copy and paste what we are sent. We do not use spell check as we use graphics software. Please do not rely on a mobile device as it is really easy to miss mistakes. We always advise using a computer or laptop and getting someone else to have a look too. Once you approve the proofs, they are final, and we cannot be held responsible for errors.

NUMBER OF PAGES - A folded cover provides 4x A5 pages of text. Each insert also provides 4x A5 pages of text. An Order of Service with 2x inserts provides a total of 12 pages of text.

FOILING – We can also do these with gold, silver, or rose gold foiling on the covers. Please email us for pricing & details.

Cover: A5 approx. 21 x 14.8cm (A4 folded to A5)

Insert: A4, approx. 29.7 x 21cm, trimmed slightly to ensure the pages do not stick out of the cover when folded

Order Process

‘Create’ your Order of Service by selecting the relevant options from the drop-down menus. If you’re unsure whether you need any insert(s), please contact us in advance and include the text you wish to have printed so that we can advise you. After you have placed your order, you can send us the text in an email at your convenience. Please don’t format it by trying to centre it on the page with tabs or leading spacing. We do this ourselves using graphics software. Please list the information in a Word document or email, with each page listed separately. Please do not send a pdf as the formatting changes and errors can be added in. List the details in order for each page and tell us if you’d like a page left blank. If you’re unsure, please ask us for instructions.

Once we receive your order a member of our design team will create electronic proofs using the information you have supplied usually within 2 – 3 working days. The proofs will be emailed to you. Unlike many companies, we do not limit the number of changes you can make to your proofs within reason. Once you are happy with them, let us know and we will send them to print. Nothing goes to print without your approval. If after placing an order you haven’t heard from us within 3 working days, please get in touch.

We normally print an order within 6 working days after you have approved any proofs. The whole process normally takes around 10 days plus delivery time depending on the product and whether or not amendments are made to the proofs. If you need your order quickly then please select ‘Priority Processing’ from the shipping options during checkout and remember to select a fast shipping option!

Your order will arrive with all covers & inserts pre-creased and stapled ready for you to simply fold in half.

WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY ORDER?
In order to work out when you will receive your order, you need to consider the processing time (proofs, amendments to proofs, printing) and the delivery method.

PROCESSING TIME
PROOFS - We have a processing time of 2 - 3 working days (Mo – Fr) for proofs. This can be slightly longer during busy periods or if you have a custom design. If you need amendments to your proofs, this will also take time. We always try to get proofs updated the same day but during busy periods, this can take longer.

PRINTING - Once you have approved your proofs, we need 6 full working days to get them printed and packed for dispatch. We do always try to get things done sooner but this isn’t always possible and depends on our workload at the time.

DISPATCH – Once we dispatch your order, timing is out of our hands and depends entirely on the shipping method you chose during checkout. For example, Royal Mail quote 3 – 5 working days to deliver a 2nd class parcel. However, we all know that this can vary hugely. If you don’t have a week or two to spare for delivery, be sure to select the courier option! Please note that our couriers do not collect or deliver at weekends.

I NEED IT FAST! - If you need your order quickly, you have the option of selecting Priority Processing during checkout. This will speed up the processing and printing time of your order (not the delivery). You will still need to choose a faster delivery option! Contact us via email in advance if you’re unsure of the timeframe.

Shipping

After you have approved your proof, we aim to dispatch most orders within 3 - 6 working days, depending on the product type (please see individual product details for dispatch times). Large orders with assembling, gluing or foil pressing may take a few days longer. All digital foiling takes around 3 full weeks to print. Samples are usually dispatched within 1 - 3 working days. Shipping times may vary due to bank holidays or during busy periods.

Royal Mail 2nd Class postage (no rush) – Royal Mail quote 3-5 working days however in our experience this often takes longer and can take up to 3 weeks. Please do not select this option if you need to receive your order within 3 weeks of approval for print. It really does mean ‘no rush’!

Royal Mail 1st Class postage (not guaranteed) – Royal Mail quote 1 – 2 working days however, in our experience this often takes considerably longer and can take up to 10 days. Please do not select this option if you must receive your order within 10 days of approval for print.

Tracked 24 (tracked but not guaranteed) – Royal Mail quote 1 – 2 working days however, this is not guaranteed and has been known to take a full 10 days. If it’s crucial you receive your order within 10 days of sending your order to print, this is not the option for you.

*Next Day Delivery takes 1 or 2 working days (weekends & holidays excluded).

*Next Day Options are only available for UK mainland. Please contact us separately for shipping to Northern Ireland or any of the other islands or highlands.

If you require any other shipping such as Guaranteed Next Day or Saturday Delivery, please contact us separately for a quote. Most shipping options can be upgraded for a surcharge.

Shipping Abroad
Sadly, Brexit has made it impossible for us to ship to Europe. There are companies available that will handle this for you and provide a UK shipping address for you. Companies such as https://forwardvia.com/ and https://www.shopandship.com/ are just 2 examples. The best option is usually to have your order shipped to friends or family in the UK who can then forward things on for you.

FAST TRACK ORDERS
If you choose to add priority processing to your order, it will flag up for us and will then jump to the front of the queue and take priority. We will make sure that your order is processed as quickly as possible from proofs through to printing and dispatch. We will aim to prepare your proofs within 1 or 2 days and will also endeavour to dispatch your order as soon as possible once you’ve approved your proofs.
Please contact us for availability before placing your order if you need your order within just a few days. Large format items (Foamex/2mm Card) still need a minimum of 4 days to be processed, printed, and shipped. Traditional foil pressing also takes a few days because a plate has to first be manufactured before we can even begin pressing.

Digital Foiling orders (not to be confused with our traditional foil pressing) cannot be sped up once they have been sent to print so there is no need to select priority processing.

Please note that your order will still be dispatched using whichever shipping method you choose during checkout so if you select 2nd class postage, the order will simply slow down once we’ve dispatched it. We recommend selecting our Next Day delivery service (UK mainland only. Weekends & holidays excluded).
