AVAILABLE OPTIONS EXPLAINED
CARD COLOUR: Choose from a smooth white or ivory 330gsm card or our lightly textured Premium Cream card. The premium card is a noticeably thicker 350gsm and adds a luxurious look and feel to your invitations.
PERSONALISED GUEST NAMES: If you’d like each card to be individually personalised for each guest, this is the option for you. We will require a list of the guest names that we can copy and paste. Please either email us for a template, click on the link above right to download a template, or alternatively, list the names in a simple list with each name typed exactly as you’d like it printed. Please don’t precede the names with numbers, dashes, or bullet points as these will print along with the names. You can use an email, spreadsheet, or Word document to send them. See below if any of your guests have titles.
FLAT/FOLDED: If you’d prefer your cards to be flat rather than folded, you can select this option. If you need extra space left at the bottom so that they can be put into stands, let us know by writing it on the order.
ACTUAL EVENT DATE: Please tell us the actual date of your event (not an earlier date)! This date is important as it helps us to keep track of the order and ensure you’ve selected the correct shipping option. Don’t worry, you can also tell us the date you’d actually like to receive it by below or in your notes, even if it’s months in advance!
WHEN WOULD YOU LIKE TO RECEIVE YOUR ORDER BY?
As well as the event date, please tell us the date you would like this to be delivered by (it’s fine if it’s the same as the event date). We understand that sometimes customers travel to the wedding venue in advance or perhaps you’re just super organised and want to be sure you have everything well before the event. This date is important as it helps us to keep track of the order and ensure it will arrive in plenty of time. Please remember to take processing and shipping times into consideration when selecting your postage option during checkout. Please allow an additional 2 weeks for 2nd class delivery AFTER processing time and your order has been sent to print (we all know how post can be delayed).
NOTES FOR YOUR ORDER: This is where you can provide any details about your order even if it’s just to say you’ll email us. You can list the names here or you can simply email them to us afterwards. Whichever is more convenient for you.
I NEED THESE QUICKLY
If you need them within 2 weeks, please select the courier delivery (or the fastest shipping method available for your postcode. Surcharges may apply for highlands & islands). If you need them within a week, you must select both Priority Processing AND the courier delivery. Royal Mail 1st & 2nd class postage is not guaranteed, and we do not refund for late delivery.
TITLES: If you’d like to add titles to one or more of the cards (e.g. Mother of the Bride), please use a spreadsheet to send the details as the titles must be in a separate column to the names. All names must be in column 1 and the corresponding titles must be in column 2 (leave this column blank for those without titles). If you are unable to use a spreadsheet, please use a comma delimited format and write the name, followed by a comma, followed by the title (with no space between). E.g.:
Sarah Harrison,Bride
James Smith,Groom
Sally,Flower Girl
The comma will act as a line break so please don’t use commas within the name such as Smith, James. Both Smith and James would end up on separate lines.
FONTS
The font used will be as per the listing photographs. We copy all your text as plain text no matter what font you used to send the names. If you’d like to change the font(s), please add a note to the order. Please note that some fonts print capitals as a large lower-case letter. We cannot change this so please check you’re happy with the font as shown or choose another one.
PRINTING ON BACK OF CARDS: Perhaps you’d like the event date or more of the pretty design on the back of the fold. Just add a note to the order.
PRINTING INSIDE THE FOLD: If you need any text to be printed on the inside of the folded cards, please contact us for details as additional charges will apply.
MINIMUM ORDER QUANTITY: We have removed the minimum order quantity requirement on this listing as we get so many requests for reprints. Cheaper prices start from a quantity of 20 so if you need 10 or more, you may prefer to just purchase 20 and have some spare blanks.
SPECIAL CHARACTERS: Please note that some special characters (e.g. ö or é) may not print correctly with certain fonts. Please add a note to the order to let us know that there are special characters, and we will let you know if there is an issue with any of them.
PROOFS: We do not prepare proofs of place cards unless the design is unusual, and you specifically request one. Orders will go straight to print so if your design differs from that pictured, please add a message to the order as we will not check previous orders without being asked.
