Our menus are fully customised for you no matter what type of meal you’re having. These are ideal as part of your guests’ place setting. These can be wine/cocktail/vegan/vegetarian/children’s menus or individually personalised for each guest.
The text is printed on a translucent vellum, which subtly displays the coloured backing card underneath. What's great about this is that you get to choose the colour of the backing card, allowing it to perfectly match your event or personal taste.
The finishing touch is a practical grommet that neatly attaches the vellum to the backing card. A matching tassel accompanies it, adding a bit of flair. This vellum menu, with its balanced blend of simplicity and sophistication, is sure to enhance any dining experience. With lots of card and tassel colours to choose from, you’re sure to find something to fit your theme. Available in 2 sizes with optional guest names and personalised guest menu choices. We can also create the rest of your stationery to match your chosen design. We can edit almost any aspect of the menu so if you would like something altered, please don’t hesitate to ask. Prefer a different font or want the design tweaked? Please add a note to your order.
We get asked almost every single day without fail whether something on a piece of stationery can be changed. The answer is YES! They are available in every one of our designs in any category on our website and we can even create bespoke designs or use one of yours. Just use this listing and add a note to the order. If you have your own design, please email it to us first so that we can check it’s suitable. As you can imagine, photographing every single variation would take years so we have examples listed but please don’t hesitate to tell us if you’re looking for something else.
VARIATIONS EXPLAINED SAMPLE: If you’d like to order a sample, you can click the Purchase Sample button near the top of the listing. Samples are not personalised in any way and will be from pre-printed stock. There is a minimum order quantity for personalised vellum menus.
BACKING CARD COLOUR: Choose from our main selection of card colours or get in touch if you need a colour not shown. There are many, many more available from yellow through pale blue through to pearlescent card types so please don’t hesitate to ask. The top layer will be 140gsm vellum.
GROMMET: Choose from gold or silver. These will be punched into your cards for you joining the vellum layer to your backing card leaving a neat hole for you to thread a tassel through.
CARD SIZE: Available in 2 sizes: A6 or 5x7”. Please see sizing tab for measurements.
MENU TYPE: If your menus are all identical/set, simply select one of the ‘… (identical)’ options and any other options you’d like, edit the quantity, and add them to your basket. If you’d just like a few of those to be different such as vegetarian or children’s menus, select the appropriate option for those and also add those to your basket. Each batch must be added to your basket separately. However, if you need them ALL to vary with individual guest names and/or their individual food choices, you will need to select the ‘Various (Spreadsheet) option (details below).
VARIOUS (SPREADSHEET REQUIRED): If you’d like each menu to be individually personalised for each guest, this is the option for you. We will require a spreadsheet with the guest names and their menu choices. Please click here to download a spreadsheet template. If you only want the names to change and the menu is to be the same on each one, you can simply send us a list of names in an email without any preceding numbers/bullet points/dashes etc instead of a spreadsheet.
ACTUAL EVENT DATE: Please tell us the actual date of your event (not an earlier date)! This date is important as it helps us to keep track of the order and ensure you’ve selected the correct shipping option. Don’t worry, you can also tell us the date you’d actually like to receive it by below or in your notes, even if it’s months in advance!
WHEN DO YOU NEED THIS BY? As well as the event date, please tell us the date you would like this to be delivered by (it’s fine if it’s the same as the event date). We understand that sometimes customers travel to the wedding venue in advance or perhaps you’re just super organised and want to be sure you have everything well before the event. This date is important as it helps us to keep track of the order and ensure it will arrive in plenty of time. Please remember to take processing and shipping times into consideration when selecting your postage option during checkout. Please allow an additional 2 - 3 weeks for 2nd class delivery AFTER processing time and your order has been sent to print (we all know how post can be delayed).

YOUR WORDING: You can write us a note for your order here if it’s simply one set menu. Otherwise, it’s best to email the menu details to contact@vintageprints.co.uk afterwards at your convenience as you cannot upload a spreadsheet to our website.

Choose your card type and grommet colour. Select your card size, menu type, and your tassel colour by selecting the relevant options from the drop-down menus. Please refer to the Product Information tab for details on each of the options. Either include the information for your menus with the order or email it to us afterwards at your convenience.
If you have opted to have your menus individually personalised, please send the information in a spreadsheet. Each menu must be on one row. Each line of text on the menu must be in one column (Name, Starter, Main, Dessert). We’d be happy to send you a spreadsheet template.
Once we receive your order a member of our design team will create electronic proofs using the information you have supplied usually within 2 – 3 working days. The proofs will be emailed to you. Unlike many companies, we do not limit the number of changes you can make to your proofs within reason. Once you are happy with them, let us know and we will send them to print. Nothing goes to print without your approval. If after placing an order you haven’t heard from us personally within 3 working days, please get in touch. We always email you separately from the automatic order confirmation to acknowledge an order.
We normally print an order within about 5 – 6 working days after you have approved any proofs. The whole process normally takes around 8 working days plus delivery time depending on the product and whether or not amendments are made to the proofs. If you need your order quickly, please select ‘Priority Processing’ during checkout. Please consider the courier option if delivery is time critical as neither 1st nor 2nd Class Royal Mail postage is guaranteed and can take a lot longer than they quote.
After you have approved your proof, we aim to dispatch most orders within 3 - 6 working days, depending on the product type (please see individual product details for dispatch times). Large orders with assembling, gluing or foil pressing may take a few days longer. All digital foiling takes around 3 full weeks to print. Samples are usually dispatched within 1 - 3 working days. Shipping times may vary due to bank holidays or during busy periods.
Royal Mail 2nd Class postage (no rush) – Royal Mail quote 3-5 working days however in our experience this often takes longer and can take up to 3 weeks. Please do not select this option if you need to receive your order within 3 weeks of approval for print. It really does mean ‘no rush’!
Royal Mail 1st Class postage (not guaranteed) – Royal Mail quote 1 – 2 working days however, in our experience this often takes considerably longer and can take up to 10 days. Please do not select this option if you must receive your order within 10 days of approval for print.
Tracked 24 (tracked but not guaranteed) – Royal Mail quote 1 – 2 working days however, this is not guaranteed and has been known to take a full 10 days. If it’s crucial you receive your order within 10 days of sending your order to print, this is not the option for you.
*Next Day Delivery takes 1 or 2 working days (weekends & holidays excluded).
*Next Day Options are only available for UK mainland. Please contact us separately for shipping to Northern Ireland or any of the other islands or highlands.
If you require any other shipping such as Guaranteed Next Day or Saturday Delivery, please contact us separately for a quote. Most shipping options can be upgraded for a surcharge.
Shipping Abroad Sadly, Brexit has made it impossible for us to ship to Europe. There are companies available that will handle this for you and provide a UK shipping address for you. Companies such as https://forwardvia.com/ and https://www.shopandship.com/ are just 2 examples. The best option is usually to have your order shipped to friends or family in the UK who can then forward things on for you.
FAST TRACK ORDERS If you choose to add priority processing to your order, it wiill flag up for us and will then jump to the front of the queue and take priority. We will make sure that your order is processed as quickly as possible from proofs through to printing and dispatch. We will aim to prepare your proofs within 1 or 2 days and will also endeavour to dispatch your order as soon as possible once you’ve approved your proofs. Please contact us for availability before placing your order if you need your order within just a few days. Large format items (Foamex/2mm Card) still need a minimum of 4 days to be processed, printed, and delivered. Traditional foil pressing also takes a few days because a plate has to first be manufactured before we can even begin pressing.
Digital Foiling orders (not to be confused with our traditional foil pressing) cannot be sped up once they have been sent to print so there is no need to select priority processing.
Please note that your order will still be dispatched using whichever shipping method you choose during checkout so if you select 2nd class postage, the order will simply slow down once we’ve dispatched it. We recommend selecting our Next Day delivery service (UK mainland only. Weekends & holidays excluded).
