It can be difficult to choose your stationery with so many different options available. Ordering a sample is a great way to show you the quality, colours, size, and style so that you can make up your mind. These stunning hand-pressed invitations are irresistibly eye catching! The block foiling is tactile and eye-catching and the ultimate in luxury.

A generic/non-personalised sample is to show you the size, quality, style, and colour of your chosen invitation. We do not personalise them in any way. We do not keep all variations in stock so you will receive the invite of your choice, or the nearest available, plus swatches of your chosen foil & card colour. Please add a note if you’d like to see more than one additional foil/card colour and remember to tell us which of the foil press/press & print designs you’d like to see, or we’ll choose at random. We’ll dispatch your sample as soon as possible, usually within 1 or 2 working days.

Full Foil versus Foil & Print
Full Foil means we create a single plate with the entire design and text on. The whole of the card is pressed with foil. There is no restriction to the card colour, but it is not possible to have guest names or other variations on them as a plate would need to be made for each one.

Foil & Print means we combine the two. We can print things like guest names or other variations. Any foiling is pressed using a plate and cannot vary. We can only print onto a pale background and onto a maximum of 350gsm. You cannot have foil & print on forest green, navy blue, or black for example as the print would not show up.

Personalised Samples: Due to the high cost of producing small quantities, printed personalised samples are not available. As an alternative, we recommend purchasing both a printed Generic Sample and an Electronic Sample (contact us at contact@vintageprints.co.uk if you’d like to order an Electronic Sample).

Card Colours
There are many different card colours available aside from those shown on this listing, but we do not hold them all in stock. When placing a full order of personalised cards, you can let us know what colour you are looking for and we’ll be happy to see what’s available at the time.

Sizes explained:
A5 is twice the size of A6
5x7” approximately 12.7cm x 17.78 cm 
A6 is half the size of A5 and twice the size of A7

C5 envelope fits an A5 card
5x7” envelopes fits a 5x7” card (the envelope is slightly larger)
C6 envelope fits an A6 card

SHIPPING
Generic Samples are usually dispatched within 1 - 3 working days. Shipping times may vary due to bank holidays or during busy periods. Standard 2nd class postage is 3 – 5 working days but can also take longer.

After you have approved your proof, we aim to dispatch your order within 4 - 15 working days, depending on your product type (please see individual product details for dispatch times). Samples are usually dispatched within 1 - 3 working days. Shipping times may vary due to bank holidays or during busy periods.

Royal Mail 2nd Class postage and a standard courier takes between 3-5 working days.  
Royal Mail 1st Class postage takes 2 – 3 working days.
*Next Day Delivery takes 1 or 2 working days (weekends & holidays excluded). 

*Next Day Options are only available for UK mainland. Please contact us separately for shipping to Northern Ireland or any of the other islands or highlands.
If you require any other shipping such as Express or shipping abroad then please contact us separately for a quote.

FAST TRACK ORDERS
*If you choose to add Priority Processing to your order, it will jump to the front of the queue and take priority. We will make sure that your order is processed as quickly as possible from proofs through to printing and dispatch. We will aim to prepare your proofs within 1 or 2 days and will also endeavour to dispatch your order within 1 – 2 full working days from approving your proofs.
