Many of you were lucky enough to have got engaged to the love of your life in the not too distant past. Congratulations if that was you! You got all excited and started making plans. The date was set, and you invested time and money into planning your perfect wedding be that a small intimate affair on a beach in the Bahamas or a huge lavish function in a country mansion with hundreds of guests. Then you started hearing worrying news and suddenly we were being forced to take a pause from our work and way of life. COVID19 hit! We could see it as an opportunity to slow down and take stock of our lives. But for most of us it’s been upsetting and, in many cases, costly.
We cannot predict how long this will go on for, but we can hold onto the magic of planning our perfect wedding. We now have time to do a little more research or change some things that weren’t quite right. We hope that we can inspire you on that journey with our designs and ideas.
So where to start?
Had you already informed all your guests where and when it was taking place?
Then perhaps the first step is to get a notification out to everybody to let them know that although things have had to be postponed, you will be going ahead with the wedding at some stage and you want them to be there when you do. You might post something on social media, send a text or email or if grandpa doesn’t use any of those things, you might consider sending printed cards. You can take a casual approach and make light of the situation or you might prefer to remain formal. There are so many ways to say the same thing. At Vintage Prints we work with you to create the perfect piece of stationery. Browse our website for ideas. We customise everything for you. Create your own unique message and we’ll help turn it into something you can be proud to send to your guests. Send a message that gives your family and friends something to look forward to once all the restrictions have been lifted and life can become the new normal.
Stay safe everyone!
