We get asked on a daily basis whether some aspect of an invitation can be changed. The answer is YES! We fully customise everything so if you’d prefer to word your invitations differently from those pictured, change the layout or fonts or move the design, just tell us when placing your order. Perhaps you’d prefer invitations for some other event? No problem, they are fully customisable.
In order to keep costs down we have a minimum order quantity of 30 for each variation (e.g. day, evening, German etc.). The higher the quantity, the lower the price! Please ensure that you order enough invitations and include spares for any late additions to the guest list.
We can alter almost any aspect of the invitation so if you would like something altered, please don’t hesitate to ask. Please be aware that foil writing is always harder to read due to its beautiful shine. We are happy to put any information you like on the cards but do not take responsibility for them being hard to read. The more text that is added, the smaller the text.
VARIATIONS EXPLAINED:
CARD COLOUR: The invitation cards to tuck into your pocketfold are on warm white card. Card used for foiling has changed in recent years as manufacturers worldwide struggled with supply. All card used for foiling must be exceptionally smooth and the slightest change in the manufacturing process means some card types are no longer suitable for foiling. We have been forced to update our stock as a result so now only offer Warm White 400gsm Satimat for all digital foiling. The white card is slightly off white in colour and may differ slightly from previous samples.
Manufacturers make minor changes to their card stock all the time without prior notice so there can always be slight shade variations from the samples.
FOIL COLOUR
We offer Gold, Rose Gold, and Silver foiling. We have swatches of all 3 colours available so if you’d like to see a sample, please order a Generic Sample of any other foiling product and add a note for us to include additional foil colour swatches.
DAY OR EVENING: Each variation (day, eve, different language, different timings etc) must be ordered separately and is subject to the minimum order quantity. Use the Other option if you need a second version of either day or evening invitations.
ORDER TYPE
INVITE ONLY: This is the invitation card on its own, without any additional cards.
INVITE +1 CARD: The invitation card plus a smaller, A7 card of your choice (e.g. Gift Message, RSVP, Info etc.)
INVITE +2 CARDS: The invitation card plus 2 smaller, A7 cards of your choice (e.g. Gift Message, RSVP, Info etc.)
All of the above are fully customised for you. You will receive a digital proof so that you can check that you are completely happy with the design and can make any amendments before we send them to print.
PRINTING ON BACK: Printing on the back of your cards can be either with or without foiling. You choose which bits, if any, to have foiled.
TWINE: Twine will be cut to size for you to tie your cards together
ENVELOPE OPTIONS
ENVELOPE COLOUR: Kraft brown envelopes are included as standard. Other colours are available for a small surcharge. Just click on the colour you would like. We’ve searched for a long time to find the best quality envelopes at affordable prices and are really happy with what we now stock. If you do need a different colour, let us know and we’ll see what we can find.
ADDRESSED INVITATION ENVELOPES: To keep things neat and save time, you can have us print all your guests’ names & addresses onto the invitation envelopes for you. We will need a spreadsheet from you with the information for each envelope on a single row and each line on that envelope in a separate column. Please ask us for instructions and/or a blank template to fill in.
ENVELOPE LINER: Envelope liners are on white paper. They come either Loose where they are pre-cut & creased, ready for you to stick in yourself, or fully assembled where we do the fiddly work and stick each one in for you. We create them to match your chosen design but if you’d prefer a different design to compliment your invitations, add a note to your order. Browse our other envelope liners for ideas. Please note that the paper will not exactly match the shade of white of the invitations as a different paper and printing process is used. They are sized to fit all our v-flap envelopes and are not available for our Premium White peel & seal envelopes. Envelope liners are NOT foiled.
MATCHING STICKER TO SEAL YOUR ENVELOPE: A matching sticker (without foiling) for your envelopes gives a hint of what’s to come. Choose from matt heart stickers, or round matt, gloss, or transparent stickers. You choose what goes on the sticker. If you’d like to order extra, you can order extra stickers here.
RSVP OPTIONS
RSVP ENVELOPE
RSVP envelopes are sized to fit the additional small A7 cards. They cannot be personalised as they are too small to fit through our printers.
RSVP ENVELOPE COLOUR
Kraft brown is our standard range, or you can select one of the other colours.
RSVP ENVELOPE LINER
We can create matching envelopes liners to fit into your RSVP envelopes. We will create them to match the invitation design, but you can of course choose any other design to compliment your invites. Just let us know when ordering. You can have them loose so that you glue them in yourself, or you can opt for pre-assembled where we do that for you. Please refer to the information for invitation envelope liners above for details of colour.
