Our range of foiled pocketfold invitations offer plenty of scope to add all the information you need to send out to your guests. With your choice of gold, silver, or rose gold foiling (other colours may be available) printed onto your choice of quality white or ivory card. Irresistibly eye catching! Even the simplest design will dazzle with this extra-special gilded finish. Choose which bits of your card(s) are foiled. Go for a subtle touch or all-out bling! Envelopes are included with every invitation. You have the option of adding in additional cards too. You choose which information to put where and we can even change or tweak the design for you. They are fully customisable.

Choose how many cards you’d like from an invitation card on its own to several cards such as RSVP, Gift Message, Menu, Map, or Information cards. Matching tags, sleeves, stickers, and envelope liners give them another personal touch. We are careful to select only the best quality card so that we can create something for you and your guests to hold and cherish forever.

CAN I MAKE CHANGES?
The short answer is YES! We fully customise everything so if you’d prefer to word your invitations differently from those pictured then just tell us when placing your order. Perhaps you’d prefer invitations for some other event? No problem, they are fully customisable. Want all or only part of the text foiling? Need the colour or design tweaking? Just let us know when ordering. Our photos show just one possible variation. Like the invitation style but would prefer a completely different design or have a design of your own? No problem, please contact us with your design and we’ll be able to advise you! If you’ve seen a product elsewhere on our website with a design you like, please just add a note to your order and we’ll create a pocketfold invitation set to match.

VARIATIONS EXPLAINED
POCKETFOLD COLOUR: Kraft brown pocketfolds are 280gsm and feature a darker shade on the front with a slightly paler reverse. They are made from recycled card and shade variations are normal. Other colours vary from 270gsm – 350gsm and the colour is the same both front and back. All are of a beautiful quality.

CARD COLOUR:  The invitation cards to tuck into your pocketfold are on white or ivory 330gsm card. Card used for foiling occasionally changes without prior notice as manufacturers worldwide struggle with supply and mills change their recipes. This has now happened again and our old warm white card has been discontinued. The good news is that our new equipment foils on our other cardstocks so smooth white will now be used as standard. Ivory is also available on request. Other colours will follow soon. Any samples ordered before 28th February 2025 will be different in shade to the new card types. Please always refer to the sample swatch cards we include with all sample orders for the actual card colour.

Manufacturers make minor changes to their card stock all the time without prior notice so there can always be slight shade variations from the samples.

FOIL COLOUR
We offer Gold, Rose Gold, and Silver foiling as standard although other colours may be available (please email us). We have swatches of all 3 colours available so if you’d like to see a sample, please order a Generic Sample of any other foiling product and add a note for us to include additional foil colour swatches.

DAY OR EVENING: Each variation (day, eve, different language, different timings etc) must be ordered separately and is subject to the minimum order quantity. Use the Other option if you need a second version of either day or evening invitations, even if only one of the cards in the set differs.

ORDER TYPE
INVITE ONLY: This is the invitation card on its own, without any additional cards. Choose to have it loose to tuck into the pocket or glued in place on the central section of the pocketfold.

INVITE + 1 CARD: The invitation card plus one additional card of your choice (RSVP/Menu/Info/Gift Msg etc). You choose which size card you’d like to tuck into the pocket.

INVITE +2 CARDS: The invitation card plus two additional cards of your choice, in any 2 of the 3 sizes, (RSVP/Menu/Info/Gift Msg etc).

INVITE +3 CARDS (as in main photograph): The invitation card plus all three additional cards printed with details of your choice (RSVP/Menu/Info/Gift Msg etc).

The additional cards come in 3 sizes: A, B, and C and include foiling. Please see Sizing for details. You can choose which of those sizes you would like for your additional cards. For example, if you would like the Invite +1 Card, you can choose whether your additional card is A, B or C. The invitation card is size A.

All of the above are fully customised for you. You will receive a digital proof so that you can check that you are completely happy with the design and can make any amendments before we send them to print.

BUTTON MAGNETS
We have some great little round button magnets that make closing and opening the pocketfolds a doddle. Simply stick these onto the inside of the flap and in the corresponding position on the closed pocketfold.
The magnets and mini stickers will be supplied in separate stacks for you to attach yourself. This is because each one needs to be lined up correctly as you fold and close the pocketfold. You will receive 2 per pocketfold. Remember to stick them the right way around so that the poles attract! Take a look at this clip to see more!

POCKETFOLD FLAT OR GLUED
Pocketfolds can be supplied flat or pre-assembled by us. If you’d like to assemble them yourself, we recommend using either a strong glue or double-sided sticky tape. The only other things you need are time and patience!

INVITE GLUED IN PLACE
Photos show the invitation card glued onto the pocketfold. You can opt to have us do this for you or leave them loose and do this yourself.
No Thanks - If you don’t need a sleeve or tag with your invitations, select this option.
Twine Only – Lengths of twine long enough for you to wrap twice around your folded invitation and tie neatly.
*Tag & Twine – Personalised printed tag, with or without foiling, with a hole punched and lengths of twine. Tags come in a separate stack and the twine is cut ready for you to thread through the tag and tie to the folded invitations.
*Sleeve With Blank Sticker - Personalised foiled sleeves, with round blank stickers to fix the sleeve together. Sleeves are on white 160gsm paper only! Let us know whether you’d prefer a matt, gloss, or transparent sticker.
*Sleeve With Matching Sticker – Personalised foiled sleeves with matching round (no foil) personalised stickers. Sleeves are on white 160gsm paper only! Let us know whether you’d like a matt, gloss, or transparent sticker. Stickers are not foiled.

*Bulk Pricing for Foil Sleeves/Tags
The only way to give pricing discounts for sleeves & tags is by listing them separately. If you need 50 or more sleeves to go with your invitations, please contact us and we will point you in the right direction.

PRINTING ON BACK OF CARDS
If you have a lot of information, you can choose to have it printed onto the back of cards. Foiling is included. You could for example use the larger size card (A) as your RSVP card and have printing on the back to create a postcard RSVP.

RSVP ENVELOPES
If you would prefer to have an RSVP envelope for guests to return their replies to you, you would need to use the smallest of the 3 cards (Card C) as your RSVP card. C6 envelopes can be purchased separately for this. The card fits nicely into a C6 envelope with a small gap on either side. Purchase RSVP envelopes here.

ENVELOPE OPTIONS
ENVELOPE COLOUR:  Kraft brown envelopes are included as standard. Other colours are available for a small surcharge. Just click on the colour you would like. We’ve searched for a long time to find the best quality envelopes at affordable prices and are really happy with what we now stock. If you do need a different colour, let us know and we’ll see what we can find.

ADDRESSED INVITATION ENVELOPES:  To keep things neat and save time, you can have us print all your guests’ names & addresses onto the invitation envelopes for you. We will need a spreadsheet from you with the information for each envelope on a single row and each line on that envelope in a separate column. Please ask us for instructions and/or a blank template to fill in.

ENVELOPE LINER:  Envelope liners are on a white or on cream paper. They come either Loose where they are pre-cut & creased, ready for you to stick in yourself, or fully assembled where we do the fiddly work and stick each one in for you. We create them to match your chosen design but if you’d prefer a different design to compliment your invitations, just add a note to your order. Browse our other envelope liners for ideas. Cream paper is also available on request. Ivory paper is no longer available as it was discontinued by the mill. Liners are sized to fit all our v-flap envelopes and are not currently available for our Premium White peel & seal envelopes although this is about to change (contact us if you’d like these). Envelope liners are not foiled as standard but are available. Please contact us if you’d like to add these to your order.

MATCHING STICKER TO SEAL YOUR ENVELOPE: A matching sticker (without foiling) for your envelopes gives a hint of what’s to come. Choose from matt heart stickers, or round matt, gloss, or transparent stickers. You choose what goes on the sticker. If you’d like to order extra, you can order extra stickers here.

This is where you can write any notes about your order. If you feel it’s too much to put all the information in here, feel free to email it to us afterwards at your convenience.

QUANTITY
In order to keep costs down we have a minimum order quantity of 30 for each variation (e.g., day, evening, German etc)! We always recommend ordering a few extra invitations for those late additions to the guest list as we cannot produce fewer than 30 reprints. Remember you only need one invitation per couple/family, not per person!

‘Create’ your invitation pack yourself by selecting the relevant options from the drop-down menus. Either include the information for your cards with the order or email it to contact@vintageprints.co.uk afterwards at your convenience.

Once we receive your order a member of our design team will create electronic proofs using the information you have supplied usually within 2 – 3 working days. The proofs will be emailed to you. Unlike many companies, we do not limit the number of changes you can make to your proofs within reason. Once you are happy with them, let us know and we will send them to print. Nothing goes to print without your approval. If after placing an order you haven’t heard from us within 3 working days, please get in touch. We always email separately to confirm an order.

Please note that once we send foiling orders to print, the order cannot be changed! By sending them to print you confirm that all the details are correct on the proofs. If you are unsure about any detail at all then please ask before approving them. And please get someone else to proofread them too! Please ensure all elements of your order are shown on your proofs including stickers, sleeves, addressed envelopes etc. You are responsible for ensuring the proofs at the time of approval are correct even if you had previously requested edits in an email. If they are not visible on the proofs, they have been missed so you must point it out to us.

We normally print an order within 6 working days after you have approved any proofs. The whole process normally takes around 2 weeks plus delivery time depending on the product and whether amendments are made to the proofs. Please allow extra time for gluing/pre-assembling. If you need your order quickly, please select Priority Processing during checkout. Please also be sure to select a faster shipping method if you’d like your order quicker. Next Day Courier is the fastest.

After you have approved your proof, we aim to dispatch your order within 4 - 15 working days, depending on your product type (please see individual product details for dispatch times). Samples are usually dispatched within 1 - 3 working days. Shipping times may vary due to bank holidays or during busy periods.

Royal Mail 2nd Class postage and a standard courier takes between 3-5 working days.  
Royal Mail 1st Class postage takes 2 – 3 working days.
*Next Day Delivery takes 1 or 2 working days (weekends & holidays excluded).

FAST TRACK ORDERS
*If you choose to add Priority Processing to your order, it will jump to the front of the queue and take priority. We will make sure that your order is processed as quickly as possible from proofs through to printing and dispatch. We will aim to prepare your proofs within 1 or 2 days and will also endeavour to dispatch your order within 1 – 2 full working days from approving your proofs.
