From a traditional vintage design to a fold-out card style, choosing the type of foil wedding invitation is sometimes harder than the proposal in the first place! Here’s our simple, quick guide to ordering your custom foil wedding invitations.
First things first. What type of foil invitations would you like? We offer standard, square or fold-out type foil invitations. Please get in touch if you’d like a type not shown such as our pocketfolds, or if there’s another type of invite you’d like that you can’t see on our website. Our invitations all come with envelopes.
This is a big decision, so you’ll want to take your time. If you have some idea of what kind of wedding theme you’re going for, it will be much easier to narrow down your options. Are you looking to keep your invitations simple, or are you going for “all-out” glam? Whichever you choose, we have various foiling invitation designs to choose from. Don’t forget, we can make any amendments to a design for you if you wish.
At Vintage Prints, we create handcrafted wedding stationery to suit every kind of special day. Of course, no two weddings are the same, and we know how important and memorable your wedding day has to be. After you’ve found the design for you, it all comes down to the text. Why not order a couple of different samples to see which colour foil you like best? Do you prefer a different font or want the design tweaked, then why not opt for an Electronic Sample and see your tweaks made real online? After all, we want you to be 100% happy with your invitations, so we are here to help. Once you’ve finalised the date, decided on the menu options, and have all of the other important details, we always recommend that you order your foil wedding invitations as early as you possibly can, in case you wish to make any changes. We recommend that the main wedding invitations are to be sent eight to twelve weeks before the wedding. Once you have ordered your foil wedding invitations, we will send you electronic proofs of them. Once you have approved the final designs, we will send them to print and it won’t be long before you receive them in the post.
